Abdullah Sayidi has been recognized for over three decades of dedicated service in accounting, auditing, governance, and risk management. His expertise has been cultivated through senior-level appointments across government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and nonprofit organizations.

An academic foundation was laid with a Diploma in Accounting from STAN (1987), followed by a Bachelor’s degree from Universitas Airlangga (1997), and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (2008). A wide range of professional certifications has been obtained, including CFE, CA, PIA, CCGO, ERMAP, QGIA, and CSRS.

As a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), specialized expertise in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation has been demonstrated. Responsibilities involving high-integrity audits and fraud risk assessments have been consistently undertaken throughout his career, particularly in environments requiring strong internal control and ethical oversight.

His professional journey was initiated at BPKP in 1987, where assignments were carried out across various regions and at the central office in Jakarta. Audit supervision duties were undertaken at the Ministry of BUMN, and membership in the Audit Committee of PT Indofarma Tbk was assumed. In 2008, responsibilities for asset management in post-tsunami Aceh were entrusted through BRR NAD-Nias.

Between 2013 and 2021, strategic leadership was provided at PT Petrokimia Gresik, encompassing internal audit, finance, and governance. Oversight functions were also performed within its foundation and affiliated subsidiaries. Commissioner roles were fulfilled at Bank Jabar Syariah, PT Petrokopindo, and PT Cipta Sarana Medika Tbk.

Educational contributions have been sustained through leadership in Islamic education foundations and as a guest and adjunct lecturer. Corporate seminars and professional training have been regularly facilitated, with knowledge shared through forums and professional associations. Leadership roles have been actively held in IAI, FKSPI, and AAI.
