Jakarta – Nilai tukar rupiah hari ini melemah pada pembukaan perdagangan, Senin 2 Maret 2026 pagi. Kurs rupiah terhadap dolar AS bergerak melemah 42 poin atau 0,25 persen menjadi 16.829 per USD dari penutupan sebelumnya yang tercatat 16.787 per USD.

Analis mata uang Doo Financial Futures Lukman Leong memproyeksikan mata uang rupiah pada Senin 2 Maret 2026 ini bakal bergerak melemah imbas dari perang antara Iran dan Amerika Serikat (AS).

Rupiah diprediksi melemah di kisaran 16.750-16.900 per dolar AS. Pelemahan mata uang Garuda disebabkan adanya kecenderungan pelaku pasar untuk menghindari aset berisiko dan memindahkan dana ke aset yang dianggap lebih aman.

“Rupiah diperkirakan akan melemah dan bergerak volatile terhadap dolar AS di tengah sentimen risk off dari eskalasi perang di Timur Tengah,” kata Lukman dikutip dari Antara, Senin (2/3/2026).

Meski demikian, lanjutnya, Bank Indonesia (BI) dinilai akan segera mengintervensi.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, pada Sabtu pagi (28/2) waktu setempat, Amerika Serikat dan Zionis Israel melancarkan serangkaian serangan ke Iran, termasuk ibu kota Teheran, sehingga menyebabkan kerusakan infrastruktur dan jatuhnya korban jiwa rakyat sipil.
